Our vacation at PD. Dec 08

P and B were away from each other for about 3 weeks, so as soon as B got back, they decided to go to PD. Just for fun. Hehe. We were there for 2 days and we had loads of fun. We missed each other so much during the 3 weeks, so we were sooo happy to see each other again after a long time.

We left Kajang around 12 pm and reached there around 2 and checked into a hotel. After that, we were playing at the beach...like 2 little kids. Splashing water at each other and BUILDING SANDCASTLES. Haha.

We went for seafood at night, as it was awful there in PD. Seafood in Kajang is better we guess. Then we went back and slept well. The next morning we got up early and went to the beach again. We went KAYAKING. It was nice, but our arms hurt for a while. Haha.

Then we continued to play with the water and sand. We had to go back and bath and pack up at around 12. Then we went back to another beach to just lie down, to sleep under the pine trees. It was so peacefull.

Next time, we are going camping there. Its decided. We concluded that camping is much more fun and when it is at the seaside, it surely will be awesome.

P's Birthday Dinner

It was friday night, and B wanted to make something nice for dinner, since we did not really celebrated P's birthday as P was busy and B was having her exams. So, B whipped up a quick but special dinner for P; roast chicken, coleslaw and mash potatoes. Below are the shots of the dinner. Hmmmm....

Our Road Trip to Terrenganu

On the 27th, around 7pm, P and B were pulling their hairs thinking where to go and what to do that night. It was start of B's 1 week break, and we both wanted to do something special, since the next day is our 7th month anniversary. Haha.

So, we sat down, thought and thought and thought. Made some phone calls, thinking of inviting some friends over and having a small party. But everyone was kinda busy that night. Hmm. So, P made one last call, to his friend in Terrenganu. This friend of his, is working as a manager in this one resort and spa in Terrenganu. So , since we had nothing to do, he invited us to that resort.

Everything was so not planned. P and B quickly packed and head off to Terrenganu. It was 9.30pm, 27th September. We haven had our dinner! We stopped by a petrol station, loaded the car, with fuel of course and some snacks ( so we won't starve). We then, started our 6 hour journey to Kuala Terrenganu.

The whole journey to Kuala Terrenganu was very nice. It was a night trip, so we could not see much of the scenery. However, we saw some nice oil refineries along the road, since the east coast is very well known for their petroleum production.

We reached around 5am in the morning. Got a chalet and slept till around 1pm. Haha. The resort is called The Heritage Bay Resort and Spa. It is a big place with loads of chalets. It is actually the property of the Sultan of Terrenganu. So, its kinda awesome place to stay. Adding on, it was right at the side of the sea, adding on to its "awesome-ness".

So, we stayed there for 2 days. And things started to get a bit boring. So, on the 29th, we left Terrenaganu. Below is the picture of P packing. Haha.


It was puasa season, obviously its boring. LOL. So, we loaded again our car with snacks, now..not just snacks, it buka puasa food. We bought tons of kuehs. Haha...was muching all the way. On the way back, we stopped by Teluk Cempedak, to play in the sea of course. Hehe. We reached the beach around 9pm and spent around 2 hours there and continued our journey back home.

We reached Kajang around 3 in the morning. And gosh, we were so glad. We slept like pigs till the next day, around 1 pm. Haha.

And so, that was our 7th month anniversary celebration. :)

Monash Ball 08 and Merdeka Party

We had Monash Ball on the eve of Merdeka which was on the 30th of August. B wore a purple gown and P wore his black shirt and pants with a cute silver tie. Aww. We were at the ball till around 11pm, and since the ball sucked, and we were all tired we head back home. As always, we bought some satay kajang...to munch while watching tv at night. However, the night ended early that day. The ball pictures will be uploaded later in this blog.

The next day, PB, B's sister and her boyfriend (Harish), we all decided to go for a refreshing bath at the waterfall in Kajang itself, since there were like many many waterfalls there. We just chose one and went. It was awesome. Thank god the water was clean and nice. The only thing was, it rained that day, so we had to move out after about 2 hours of soaking and splashing in the waters. It was great though.

On the way back from the waterfall + picnic, we all were deciding on what to do for the night. At first we were like planning to cook a big feast, however we ended up doing BBQ!! Yippie! So, that night, it was Merdeka night, we had BBQ till 4 am in the morning. Hehe. Fun Fun Fun. P had some of his friends over and they were hilarious.

Overall it was a good+great weekend. The next day was a holiday, since Merdeka fell on Sunday, Monday was a off day. Slept till the sun stopped shining the next day. Hehe. :)

Hmm, what shall we do the next time around????..

The chicken people...

Because of high demand on who the chicken people are....we give u....Chicken People.


This 2 are one of the most lovey-dovey couples ever....and funny of course. The reason why they are called chicken people is a long story, and we think our blog does not have enough space for that (LOL). Well, their names are Josiah a.k.a Mr. Chicken Little and Nicole a.k.a Mrs. Chicken Little. One of our very good friends.

Our first road trip....to Penang

Warning: The sequence of events below is not suitable for the viewing of "chickens" or wife of chickens. (You know who we mean...haha). To our kids (in the future), if you guys wondering who this chicken people are, they will be discussed in another post. Haha.

So, B finished her final paper on the 19th of June, as said before. Then, P came and "bungkus" her back to Kajang. Our HQ. Since, B had a long week to spend with P, we decided to keep it slow and do things later. So, first, we went for a movie. Actually both of us were eager to watch "Get Smart", it supposed to be freaking funny, but as always, we waited in line just to be dissappointed. The "Get Smart" tickets were sold out. Hmm, at last we went for "Kung Fu Panda", and it was freakin funny too. Laughed our hearts out. Haha. Panda + Kungfu + Jack Black = Come on, its hillarious! A must watch.

The next day, 20th June 08. We were relaxing at home, thinking what to do for the whole day. Then, P got a call, from Penang..his big brother. Good news, the baby had arrived. We were waiting for a long time for this. So, we set out around 6pm. The long journey ahead begun.

Firstly, we went to P's uncles place somewhere in Sungai Besi to fetch his uncle. He wants to hitchhike with us to somewhere, near Penang. The jam was freaking low, knowing that it was Kl, it was a Friday and it was around 6 pm. Everyone was going back home. We only got relieved when we were on the highway.

B was so bored, sitting at the back seat, all alone. The two uncles in front were talking and talking...Arrgghh. Haha. Then, suddenly, around 8.30 pm, an hour after we started our journey, P's car started to shake like a " rollercoaster going up a gradient". And suddenly, a tyre on the front burst! Omg... P got very shocked. B was ok. Haha. So, we parked the car at the side of the road and called for help.

The "highway" fellas came after about 15 minutes and started to change the tyre. Thank god for their help, we were able to continue our journey to Penang. Below is the footage of the tyre being changed. The tyre which burst was looking so horrid that we did not take a picture of it.

We continued our journey after dinner, the food was very bad. P was still in shocked, he did not eat well too. We reached Penang around 1.30 in the morning the next day. B was meeting P's big brother for the first time. It was very nerve wreaking. However, everything went very well. P ended up getting bullied by both B and P's brother. Fun. Haha.

The next day, we woke up early and got ready to go and see the new born baby. Ah, we can't wait. It was a baby girl, born on the 20th of June at 1.35 pm. She was really really cute and was soo small. We were playing with the 1 day old baby for about an hour. B got along well with P's sister in law also. Possibly, the baby girl will be named "Reana".

After that, we got back home and we went out for dinner. Penang food!! Haha. P was not feeling so well, so we ended up eating char kueh teow and drank "amla" (something which can only be found in Penang it seems).

After dinner we headed to the beach to walk around and have some rojak. It was low tide, and the shore was filled with rocks and the rocks were filled with rats!! Gosh...penang is getting dirtier. I do not dare put in my environmental qoutes here, or else... Mrs. Chicken will scold me. Haha. P and B at the seashore at night. P was'nt feeling well..*he says he does'nt smile in photos....??!!

Then we went back home and slept, like pigs, of course. Haha. The next day we went to visit P's father and his relatives in Bukit Mertajam or more well known as BM. It was totaly a kampung there...a lot of durian trees, rambutan trees and many many other trees....plus chickens running around. Haha...B met P's relatives and we all chatted quite a bit. B also had the pleasure of indulging on durians which just fell from the tree. Sorry, there are no pictures of B whacking on the durians. Haha.

When we headed back home it was alredy around 5 pm, knowing that no one will be home ...we decided to go to Batu Ferringi to look at the sunset...we ended up getting burnt by the sun. Oh, we again had the Penang rojak, it tasted better here. Some chinese lady was selling.

We got hungry and ended up in Gurney Drive around 6.30 pm. Wohoo...food food food...we ordered like everything which was sold there. Haha. Sorry, we only remembered to take the picture when we finished eating. Lol.

Wah...was really full after this..haha...

After that we got back home and slept. On the 24th June we decided to go a Balik Pulau, to get some fruits and of course Durians!!

The next day we were getting ready to head back to Kajang. Woke up early and had lunch somewhere in a kopitia-mish shop in Penang. Then, we decided to take the ferry across to the other side. Parked the car in the ferry, and we enjoyed the winds running through our hair. There were like millions of jelly fishes in the water. At first we were like, "wah, a jellyfish..huhuu", then it became like, "oh, jellyfish again..ah...". Haha.

On the way back, B drove the car....hehehe. P took a picture of B driving.

It may look like just posing as driving, but seriously, B was driving...all the way to Kl..while P slept like a piggo (usual).

We reached Kajang around 5 o'clock and took some rest after a long journey. The next day, we travelled to Johor!!...but thats another story. Our Penang trip ends here. Both of us had a wonderful journey and had loads of fun at Penang. B is glad to meet all of P's relations and P is glad that everything went well at last.
